The sections below each form part of this indemnity. One acceptance at the foot of the page covers all of them.

Automotive

Urban City Locksmiths (Pty) Ltd, its owners, management and staff will not be held liable for the following.

• Vehicle keys are left at the client’s own risk.
• Vehicle keys, remotes, components, key blades and casings known as the client’s keys — we will not be held liable for any damage, loss or theft of the above.
• Vehicle remote programming — we will not be held liable for any data loss on vehicle remotes due to programming or setting.
• Vehicle OBD, DTC and computer box — we will not be held liable for any damage.
• We will not be held responsible for any damage to remotes whilst changing batteries.
• During programming of vehicle keys, any loss of data or damage — we will not be held liable.
• The client agrees that all personal property is removed from the vehicle.
• The client is to report any existing damage to the vehicle.
• The client agrees that the car battery, central locking, engine etc. is in good working order.
• All keys are to be paid for in full before leaving the premises.

Automotive Ignition & Door Locks — Terms of Service

Urban City Locksmiths (Pty) Ltd, its owners, managers and staff will not be held liable for any damage to clients’ ignitions or door locks, not limited to any other components or surrounding areas listed. All parts left on our property do so at the owner’s risk.

All parts (known as the client’s parts) are sealed and we therefore cannot see what damage there is.

All work done must be settled in full before leaving our premises. Non-collected items will be sold to defray costs within 30 days, not limited to storage fees, whichever applies.

Stripping of ignitions or door locks will not be guaranteed if any damage may be occurred during stripping or installing.
